Who We Are

Welcome to Nutrition Matters - the professional resource for accurate advice on nutrition and treatments by healthcare practitioners.

Mission statement

There is growing recognition of the importance of micronutrient deficiencies (Type B malnutrition) in animal and human health and that even borderline deficiencies influence fertility, wellness, acute bacterial and viral illnesses and chronic degenerative diseases.

The members of Nutrition Matters Associates are a group of individuals from various backgrounds including farming, industry, healthcare and academic institutions who are committed to educating people about this aspect of health and what changes we need to make collectively to adequately address this problem.

We aim to provide training via articles, seminars, webinars, and lectures to those who are interested to partake. We would be interested to know how you would like to engage with us and to know if you are a potential lecturer or course member.

Our Aims

The aim of our site is to provide up to date research into nutritional medicine, provide courses for practitioners and to provide links to other groups/sites that have data on related health issues. Our library provides information on specific nutrients, specific medical conditions and the relationships between them. This information is supplied as concise datasheets complete with references for recommended further reading.

How To Use The Site

The site is divided into three areas: the reference library, health information series, and individual health care.
